Mission Hotel

The Mission Hotel was constructed in 1907 and acquired by THC through the SRO/Master Lease Program in October 1999. The project was undertaken at the request of the Mayor’s Office, to house individuals displaced by the closing of Mission Rock Shelter. With 237 units of permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless adults, the Mission is San Francisco’s largest SRO hotel. Tenants are referred to the Mission through San Francisco’s Adult Coordinated Entry system.

The building welcomes tenants into a large lobby and community room and offers tenants access to a shared kitchen and on-site laundry facility. On-site Property Management and Case Management staff support tenants with building needs and connection to resources.
