Galvin Apartments
The Galvin Apartments are named in honor of Sister Bernie Galvin, founder of Religious Witness with Homeless People. The Galvin opened on October 19th, 2006 after years of collaboration between THC and private developers of the Residential Builders Association.
Located in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood, the Galvin is THC’s only owned and operated building. It features 55 studio apartment units with full kitchens and private bathrooms. As part of San Francisco’s Below Market Rate housing program, Galvin units are managed through the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development. When available, vacant units, eligibility, and application details may be viewed on the DAHLIA San Francisco Housing Portal website.
