Dear Terence:
A group of property owners and community leaders called Tenderloin United has been created to address long standing crime problems in the Leavenworth Street corridor. After meeting with Commissioner Medina and the San Francisco Police Department leadership yesterday, we were advised to meet with you so that our anti-crime strategy can be coordinated with your office. We therefore invite you to meet with us in my office the week of March 11. Thursday, March 14, at 2:00 p.m. is a particularly convenient time.
We are all excited about having a District Attorney who cares about the Tenderloin. We particularly want to discuss the assignment of a specific District Attorney for Tenderloin cases and a consistent practice of requiring stay-away orders as a plea-bargaining condition.
Please have your secretary call me to confirm the meeting time.
All the besty,
Randy Shaw
