Program Highlights
- Since May of 1999, served 962 tenants in housing.
- Property Management staff is 65% formerly homeless. Many are former PAES and Master Lease program participants.
- Support services staff is 60% formerly homeless. Several are former SRO residents.
- As of Spring 2001, 99% of all clients placed had managed to stay at least 30 days and obtain tenancy. 97% had been housed at least 6 months or had moved to other permanent housing.
- The Vincent Hotel and the Seneca have both received commendations from the Department of Public Health for improvements made.
- City Housing has been honored by the Board of Supervisors for service to the City.
- 98% of job ready clients were placed in employment last quarter.
- Approximately 200 people per month are actively participating in support services at this time.
